If you’ve ever spent time in Phuket, you quickly discover their incredible Shopping Malls. Not only are there a plethora of them, but they aren’t limited to store after store – it is a complete experience and lifestyle. For example, who would have thought you would be shopping one minute, in a rooftop bar the next, and before you know it – playing mini golf?! Did I also mention the brilliant deals and discounts to be found?

Never the less – here are our top 8 Shopping Malls in Phuket

Jungceylon Shopping Mall: Patong

Jungceylon may not have many of the international brands you’re familiar with, however, it is considered one of Phuket’s best malls in Phuket. Including a plethora of fashion, beauty, wellness, electronic stores, entertainment and so much more. Here you will find great deals on your mid-range brands such as Esprit, Roxy & Quiksilver, Levi’s, RipCurl and many other retail stores.

If shopping isn’t what you’re about, there are also copious amounts of restaurants and entertainment facilities. These include a Cinema, Bowling alley, Trampolining, and many Spas for your relaxation.

If you thought these looked fantastic, the planned revamp looks out of this world:

Jungceylon Proposed Renovations

Limelight Avenue: Phuket Town

Limelight Avenue is a modern shopping mall located in the heart of Phuket Town. It is the perfect escape from the heat, find something to drink and eat or do a little shopping while exploring the historical district of Phuket.

It is home to many stores, from health cafés, jewellery stores, restaurants, ice cream shops, outlets, beauty services, laundry services and even a brewery!

Central Festival Phuket: Phuket Town

Central Festival Phuket, located in Phuket Town, is the other major shopping centre in Phuket (the other being Jungceylon). Central Phuket offers so much more than just a shopping trip. Today, it includes an aquarium, theme park, international restaurants, eateries and Thai spas. However, if shopping IS your forte, Central Phuket is an absolute wonderland. It’s filled with high-end to mid-range brands from Hermes, Balenciaga and Gucci to Adidas, H&M and Guess.

There is something for everyone.

Premium Outlet Phuket: Phuket Town

Premium Outlet Phuket has a large number of brand-name discount shop outlets. They offer a wide range of products such as clothing for all, sportswear & accessories, lingerie, footwear, home furnishing & souvenirs.

It is home to brands such as Lacoste, Guy Laroche, Hush Puppies, Pierre Cardin, Van Heusen, Levis, Lee, Nautica, Adidas and Nike.

The best part is, most of these shops offer discounts of up to 70% on their stock!

Ocean Shopping Mall: Phuket Town

Located in Phuket Town, Ocean Shopping Mall has all facets of what you’d expect from a mall! It’s perfect for foodies and shoppers who are looking for fantastic deals. You will find a grocery shop, a food court and an endless amount of little kiosks selling anything you could ever think of!

For those who aren’t here for the shopping or food – you’ll be pleased to know there’s also a ten-pin bowling alley and a brand-new multiplex movie theatre

Boat Avenue: Cherng Talay

Boat Avenue in Cherng Talay is a relatively new shopping and dining experience. It is Thailand’s first container mal, inspired by a project in Christchurch, New Zealand called Re:START. It features a variety of shops, boutiques, restaurants, and personal care facilities in addition to an international supermarket.

The bustling location hosts a regular Friday night market in its car park and draws tourists from all over. While this means parking becomes scarce, it is worth it for the wide range of clothes, accessories, and jewellery that becomes available. As well as the delicious street food.

Banana Walk: Patong Beachfront

Banana Walk is one of Phuket’s newer shopping malls on the Patong Beachfront. The developers of the Banana walk have taken a minimalistic, modern, eco, futuristic design approach. There are polished concrete walls, large metal and Plexiglas ceilings, open spaces and a very cool lighting display. They have created an experiential building that feels somewhat like you’re on a movie set of a science fiction film.

Banana Walk is more than just shopping, you can also eat, drink and even visit a spa for some “me” time or why not get a haircut at the barbershop. There is also rooftop mini golf and a bonus rooftop bar.

I did warn you at the beginning of this blog that Phuket shopping is out of this world! Good luck with your bank account!
